Nikolai Karamzin - The History of the Russian state. Gift book bound in leather.

Russia from the Varangians to the present with myths separated from reality

"The History of the Russian State" became a major event in the social life of the country of the 19th century and opened a new era in the study of our past. In a collection of twelve volumes, Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin described the entire history of Russia from the Varangians to the present, analyzed each stage in detail and separated myths from reality. If you are collecting a home library of classical works or are interested in the history of Russia, this book will be the best gift for you! In it you will find a brief but succinct summary of all twelve volumes, as well as the work "A Note on ancient and New Russia", which has been under an unspoken ban for almost two centuries. The author evaluates not only historical events, but also individuals, which allows you to fully immerse yourself in a certain period of history and learn everything about it. The publication is richly illustrated with color and black-and-white illustrations, most of which are engravings from the rarest album "Picturesque Karamzin", published in Pushkin's times.
