Lolita is the third American novel by Vladimir Nabokov.

Having caused a scandal on both sides of the ocean, this book elevated the author to the top of the literary Olympus and became one of the most famous and, without a doubt, the greatest works of the XX century. Today, when the polemical passions around "Lolita" have long since subsided, we can confidently say that this is a book about a great love that overcame illness, death and time, love opened to infinity, "love at first sight, at the last glance, from the eternal look".

This edition has restored a fragment of Humbert's diary from the third chapter of the second part of the novel, which was absent in all previous Russian-language editions of Lolita.
