Prepress
Prepress or prepress is one of the most important steps in creating a book. It is in the process of prepress that there is an idea of how the finished product will look. Our service, in addition to printing itself, also provides prepress services. The range of such services includes:
- Digitization of the manuscript and the creation of a printed layout;
- Formation of the design and main ideas of the publication;
- Creation of layout layout and its design;
- Bringing the finished layout to typographic requirements.
The prepress stages cover the maximum degree of work on a future book. If you are not sure of the correctness of your layout or cannot make it up, our technical specialists will do it themselves, following your wishes.
At the first stage of the prepress, we, listening to your wishes, plan the future look of the book itself. Without a clear look at how the publication will look in the end, and without a competent concept, it is impossible to draw up a subsequent layout and determine the size and design. For such work, we have experienced designers in our staff who are able to think through the concept of any book from “a” to “z”, thereby laying the foundation for the main work.
During the layout, the bulk of the work is done: the rules for placing images, arranging text blocks and much more are used, which after will affect the visual perception of the future publication. At the last stages of layout, images are added to the images for better printing, and the entire layout is converted into a subsequent file for printing in PDF format. Our experts carefully check each individual element, whether it is rulers, color substrates or even footers and columns for the correct placement and subsequent aesthetic appearance. Therefore, all our printed books are executed with high quality, without errors or inaccuracies.
The preparation of each book is an individual process. Our experts select not only the optimal format in which the text will be perceived as accessible and clear as possible, but also a simple, light layout, as well as a bright and original design. The integrity of all these components and a professional approach to accomplishing the tasks set makes our books a true work of book art.
