"The three Musketeers" is a historical — adventure novel by Alexander Dumas, first published in the Parisian magazine Le Siècle in 1844 from 14 March to 11 July. The book is dedicated to the adventures of a young man named d'artagnan who left home to become a musketeer, and his three friends Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis in the period between 1625 and 1628 years.

The young Gascon d'artagnan is full of bold plans to conquer Paris. His dexterity and agility, vitality and generosity attracted to him not only friends but also enemies who would like to see this courageous and dedicated people on my side. Loyal to his king and Queen, the three Musketeers and d'artagnan live a life full of plots, intrigues, duels and exploits.
