Volume 1
The philosopher's early dialogues related to the period of formation of his teaching. The whole idea of the volume is to trace the path of formation of Platonism.
All texts have been re-edited. The publication is equipped with a scientific apparatus.
Volume 2
Six dialogues from the mature period of the philosopher's work (80 - 60s of the IV century BC); their central problem is the doctrine of ideas.
Volume 3
The dialogues of the mature period of his work (including the more famous dialogue "The State"), in which the dialectical doctrine of ideas is filled with psychological, aesthetic and socio-political content.
The publication is equipped with a scientific apparatus.
Volume 4
The works of the philosopher's later creative period include the dialogue "Politician", in which the theme of an ideal ruler is developed, extensive "Laws", in which the theme of social utopia continues (begun in the "State"), and the "After Law".
The volume also includes "Letters" depicting the personality of the philosopher, and an Appendix including two works by Neoplatonist authors and epigrams attributed to Plato.
