Material temptations and spiritual balance through seven human vices
"The Seven Deadly Sins"
In this life, you have to pay for everything - is it worth reminding about it ? The author decided that it was worth it and this work was born. Having begun to denounce the sins of humanity with knowledge of the matter, the author boldly says that he has sinned a lot and often himself. This sounds like a fact that allows him to write about these sins and teach everyone and everyone how to deal with it . Examples from his own life of an adventurer, a warrior, an aristocrat with a full description of all the "charms" of life in which roles he was not and everywhere where he was not-whether it was a social ball or a battlefield. Luxury and pleasure allow you to forget about the soul so quickly and for so long that you do not notice the irrevocability of today's day. There is a little naive for the modern reader, who is so experienced in the benefits of humanity that with the change of times he managed to lose or lose most of the values. Having abolished and reduced the requirements for his personality, he has found a replacement for the spiritual principle and enjoys material benefits more. than spiritual balance. And we were warned about all this many decades ago. Even today, the seven deadly sins continue to be and are a person - pride, avarice, laziness, gluttony, voluptuousness, anger and envy! Well, what can I object to? Even a skeptic will find something important and necessary.
