Illustrated Bible for children. Gift book bound in leather

Old and New Testaments, church tradition and non-canonical stories for children

The retelling of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as presented by Archpriest Alexander Sokolov is considered a classic and the most successful option for introducing children to the eternal values of Christianity. The biblical stories were carefully and carefully selected by Sokolov - as only a clergyman can do. The most important events of sacred history are described in a language understandable to a child, they are interwoven with non-intrusive teachings and advice. At the same time, each story can be used by parents or teachers to talk with the younger generation about the meaning of life, about truth and lies, about faith and unbelief and other important issues. Episodes of non-canonical books, as well as stories from the field of church tradition, give a special charm to the book: for example, about the childhood of the Virgin, about the young years of Jesus Christ, about the baptism of Russia by the Apostle Andrew the First-Called.

This edition of the Bible is the most colorful and illustrated among all published in Russia. For the first time in the world, Gustave Dore's classic, unsurpassed illustrations are offered in color! High-quality binding, unique illustrations, beautiful text and a large book format make this children's Bible a wonderful gift for a child, for a family library, as well as for Sunday school classes.
