Grigory Klimov – My Name Is Legion. A gift book in a leather binding

Grigory Klimov – My Name Is Legion. A gift book in a leather binding.

“My Name Is Legion”
The second book transports the action to the post‑war era and represents a practical development of the ideas presented in the first volume. The plot centres around the fictional “13th Department of the NKVD‑KGB,” which turns the identification of others’ psychological defects into a tool for state control and espionage. Here, the artistic narrative practically gives way to lengthy lectures and debates among the characters, who analyse the biographies of real world leaders. The author finally formulates his radical concept of “higher sociology,” heavily steeped in anti‑Semitism and eugenics. The book serves as a link between Klimov’s early artistic work and his later purely journalistic writings.
