Ovid Aleksandrovich Gorchakov, a Soviet intelligence officer, Russian Soviet writer and screenwriter.

 

During the great Patriotic war was the head of reconnaissance behind enemy lines in Poland and in Germany. From 1950 he acted as a translator, particularly of congresses and plenums of the Communist party with the participation of foreign guests. 1952 was the Communist party. In 1957 he graduated from the Literary Institute. Gorky. In 1965 a member of the Union of Soviet Writers. Together with the Polish writer Janusz Pshimanovsky wrote the novel "call the fire itself" (1960) and the four-part scenario of the film (1965; the Lenin Komsomol prize, 1968).
