Géza gárdony — Hungarian writer and journalist. He wrote many scientific and artistic works. Best known as the author of historical novels such as "the Stars of Eger" and "Invisible man".

The novel "Stars of Eger" takes place in 1552, when a large part of the Hungarian Kingdom was under the yoke of the Ottoman Empire and North-Western territories, strengthened the Habsburgs. It tells the story of the famous siege of the Hungarian city of Eger by the Turkish troops. Among the heroes of the novel by the famous Balint Terek and held it in the service of Sebastien Tinodi. Along with them in the struggle against foreign invaders are involved, and the young lovers görgey and Eva.
