Volume 1
The present volume opens the works of the great Argentine writer and thinker Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986). The first volume includes works 1921-1941 years, including such acknowledged masterpieces of the Argentine writer, as "the Passion of Buenos Aires", "History of eternity", "Discussion" and other books.

Volume 2
In the second volume of the collected works includes works 1942-1969 years, the time of flourishing creativity of the writer. This is a collections of short stories and essays, "Fictional history," the Aleph, "a New investigation", book of poetry and prose, "Creator", "Different and same", "Praise the darkness", as well as articles and reviews from periodicals.

Volume 3
In the third volume of the collected works includes works created by the writer in the 1970-ies. This book of poems and miniatures "the Gold of tigers", "Secret rose", "Iron coin" and "History nights", a collection of short stories "the Message Brody" and "the Book of Sand", as well as lectures, prefaces and essays. Highlights compiled by X. L. Borges "Book of imaginary beings" - the original compendium of mythological personages of different countries and eras.

Volume 4
This volume of the collected works of Borges are making the last years of his life: the lectures, the Preface to their favorite books, interviews, poems, essays. A significant place in the volume is the pointers to all four volumes of the collected works, which allow you to easily navigate in complex and diverse world of the works of the great Argentine writer and thinker.
