Two reading paths from chapter 56 to chapter 73
Content:
- "62. The assembly model" is one of the most unusual works of Cortazar, the origins of which, by his own admission, should be sought in the 62nd chapter of the "Classic Game". In the preface to the novel, the author suggests that the reader independently construct a book from randomly selected narrative details. After all, all of them - cities, people, feelings - are just elements of a constructor from which you can create anything. Everything that the reader has the strength, capabilities and imagination to do.
- "The Hopscotch Game" - this book is in some ways a lot of books, but first of all it's two books. The reader has the right to choose one of two possibilities:
The first book is read in the usual way and ends with chapter 56, under the last line of which there are three asterisks equivalent to the word End. Therefore, the reader can ignore everything that follows without any remorse.
The second book should be read, starting with chapter 73, in a special order: at the end of each chapter, the number of the next one is indicated in parentheses.
