Unfulfilled love, missed opportunities and the paradox of a happy life
Enlarged format!
"Oblomov" — the story of a failed career, unfulfilled love, missed opportunities, but, oddly enough, the history of life is quite happy, in its opinion, man...
Such a paradoxical type of personality Ilya Oblomov has described in his work of potters, made the name his hero, a household name and defining a way of life as "oblomovism".
What is "oblomovism"? Doing nothing, lying on the couch every day, apathy? How familiar it is... A person suffering from Oblomovism may be essentially an intelligent, educated and kindest person, but all his aspirations and desires will be lost in vain. But everything could have turned out differently... Goncharov
's novel "Oblomov" encourages many readers to think seriously and, perhaps, to reconsider a lot in their lives. It is not by chance that it is so often filmed and staged by the leading theaters of Russia.
