Articles, criticism, and fiction addressing social and philosophical problems
"Diary of a Writer" is a unique work by Fyodor Dostoevsky, which has no analogues in world literature and still remains relevant at all times. This book is a collection of articles, notes and works of fiction written by the author in the period from 1867 to 1881.
The Writer's Diary covers a wide range of topics, including political articles, literary criticism and works of fiction, such as "The Boy at Christ's Christmas Tree", "Meek" and "The Dream of a Funny Man". It is a kind of encyclopedia of Russian life and is comparable to Dostoevsky's great Pentateuch in the depth of solving complex social and philosophical problems.
The book was first published in 1877 and immediately became popular among readers. It has been reprinted several times and continues to be one of the most widely read works of Fyodor Dostoevsky. This edition publishes the full text of the "Diary of a Writer", which will be a great gift for all lovers of Russian literature and philosophy.
In addition, the "Writer's Diary" is an excellent example of the mastery of psychological analysis, which makes it especially valuable for anyone interested in psychology and social problems. This book will help you better understand yourself and others, as well as help you make important decisions in life.
