That ends the poems "Vidlitsa", dedicated to the heroism of Communist border guards during the civil war, "Spring in "Victory" - an optimistic tragedy about farm life, "America, America...", "Steel mole" and others.
Volume 3:

The stories and novels of Mykola nm Gribachev. The book begins one of his first stories "Rick", dedicated to the heroism of the red army, captured by the Finns. Experience of the Finnish war of 1939-1940 was the basis and some other short stories - "the Hours", "Jack". Stories United in the cycle "White angel in the field" (the Story about the soldiers and battalion commanders) and in the center of his "Execution at dawn" - a tragic story about how the battalion commander Vadim hornets in a difficult moment, casts adrift his battalion and for it condemned by a military Tribunal to be shot. Shershneva which led to the crime? This issue is of concern of the writer in the first place.
Volume 4:

Travel essays. Two cycles dedicated to the trip to the United States in 1955 ("Seven in America") and in 1957 ("the other side"). One of the "Australian Star" - the result of the reporter's duties at the Olympic games in Melbourne in 1956. Another cycle - the end of the trip with a group of journalists on the South American continent in 1958.
In addition, this volume includes articles nm Gribachev on literature published in various journals.
Volume 5:

Stories, articles, satires, pamphlets on international and domestic topics written in 50-ies and 60-ies. Most of these materials were published in the press. As a rule, these articles were a response to any significant event.
