Journalism, progressive public opinion and the rise of the Russian intelligentsia
Vissarion Grigoryevich Belinsky - Russian thinker, writer, critic, philosopher, writer. He did for literature what he did for chemistry Mendeleev, for he invented nothing, except the order, which opened a wide perspective. And so was Titan.
The historical significance of Belinsky cannot be overemphasized. In public terms, it is a milestone marking the end of the reign of the nobility and the coming of the governance of culture nonclass raznochintsy intelligentsia. He was the first in the dynasty of journalists, who had unlimited influence on the Russian progressive public opinion. He was the real father of the intelligentsia, the embodiment of what was her spirit for more than two generations of socialism, eager to improve the world, disrespect for the traditions and busy selfless enthusiasm.
