The first air conditioners and high-speed elevators inside Moscow State University
The author of the project, Roman Yankovsky, conducted a large-scale campaign, during which he managed to collect a huge amount of archival materials, diagrams and stories of residents of the city.
It was in this building that the first wall panels, air conditioners and high-speed elevators appeared. The wonders of engineering became a reality when most Muscovites didn't even have hot water!
The book describes the impressive history of the construction of the high-rise, its architectural features and device, collected a lot of photos of the facade and interiors. Also, the authors did not forget to mention some outstanding personalities, thanks to their selfless work, the main building of Moscow State University has become one of the symbols of our capital.
