Adam Bernard Mickiewicz is a Polish poet, political publicist, figure of the Polish national movement, member of the Philomath Society. Some modern Belarusian researchers consider him as a Belarusian poet. He had a great influence on the formation of Polish and Belarusian literature of the XIX century.
